HAHAHA xinru your post is damn funny. Anyway its okay, i dont blame you for being 'dragged' down into this job cos i know your working environment is much worse than mine and in fact i dont have much stuff to complain about apart from that F-ing Ginvera woman. Haha. And omg you know she's turning from bad to worse!! I thought the spitting of saliva and digging teeth (HAHAHA looks at ru's hair XD) part is bad enough already. Now i know that she often brags about herself and she's much more gross than i've ever thought! HAHA complaning about her is fun and all of us promoters around her have been doing that. LOL. Okay i bet some bad luck is gonna befall upon me after my post cos i'm gonna be real mean. Haha.

Okay i shall start from the beginning if not it's gonna get too messy. Friday was the worse day of the three this week. I had no one and practically no one to talk to except her. And it's a one-sided conversation most of the time. She can be damn random and come to me and say stuff like, "Eh, you know i quarrelled with my husband yesterday and he sent me this long message to me today apologising.." Then she'll go on showing me his sms and asking me how should she reply. i know her purpose is to 'show off' her husband's good mandarin to me. Yah i admit that her husband's mandarin is good after reading that message and it's definitely better than hers. Then in the end i said i don't know to her so she just replied a "Thank you" back to him. i expected her to reply him back in mandarin too actually. HAHA i bet her husband must have felt that she's damn fu yan. Cos actually in the message he said something like (all in mandarin) "Dear (yucks) i'm very sorry for whatever that happened yesterday. Sometimes there are things that i can't let go, so i wanna apologise for being rude to you yesterday. I've cooked pig trotters' soup for you (i'm not sure if it's this but anyway,). Waiting for you to come back tonight and eat with me." hahaha i dont know why i can remember his sms so clearly. Actually i was only reading it half-heartedly. Okay i know i'm damn bad. But really i feel sorry for her husband. I think she's the kind that always demands her way at home. And her topic for the next day always has "I quarrelled with my husband again." Erps. Anyway let's move on. Sometimes she'll also tell me stuff like "I washed my hair this morning leh. You see nice anot? Very smooth hor." Then she'll fling it towards me. OH MY GOD for goodness sake!! I seriously don't bloody care about her hair and whatever she does okay! i think i should stick the I DON'T CARE words on my forehead so she wont come and tell me such random stuff. And because of all these, the other two msian promoters didnt talk to me at all this week. Cos i know they hate her to the core and they'll complain about her all the time. They thought i'm together with that woman already. Oh please do i look like i am?? I think i'm damn fu yan to her already. Everytime she tells me something irrelevant (which is most of the time), then i'll just fake smile and nod abit. I used to be more enthusiastic towards her topics but now i feel damn sick of them.

Luckily on saturday, the Kiwi auntie was there and a new promoter from Lifebuoy came. They came to my rescue so many times. Haha thank God. And the new promoter's called Jo. Same age and currently studying in poly. We had much more to talk about as compared to me with that G woman. And most of our topics revolve around school. She came last year to work here before and she said the G woman and the other two msian promoters were already there. Lol i can imagine how much they have 'suffered' with her. And lol jo's more slack than me lo. She can like walk up and down the area many times and play games on the phone. She even walked all the way to the other end and talked to the girl and the guy promoter. That's how i know that the girl is from nyjc and waiting for results like me and the guy's waiting for the school posting results after o levels. Lol. But she'll do her job also lah, only when there people looking at the products. Seriously the first and the second floor's crowd level is so different lor, especially in our area. Only once in a while then there will be many people. Okay back to the G woman. Haha. Die my eyelids twitching already. I just realised that Ginvera has almost everything. Shampoo, bodywash, facial, hair care, skin care and even deodorant. That's why she could practically cut all of our sales. Nevermind if the customer's just browsing through the different brands of products and she chiongs up to 'brainwash' them. But it's really disgusting to see that after the customer has taken a particular brand of product which is not hers, she'll bring them over to her products' shelf and persuade them to use hers instead and then go on saying whats not good about the one which the customer took (promoters are not supposed to do that right?). Then if she succeeds, she'll take the product which is not hers from the customer's basket or trolley and just dump it at some random shelf. Sometimes she'll just leave it at some ulu corner of her own shelf. Jo caught her doing that to her product and she was damn pissed. When the customer refuses to buy her products, she'll sort of raise her voice at them. Even when the customer walks away, she'll keep on asking them to buy until they're too far away. But there were a few times when the customer turned around and said "BU YAO MAI LA." to her then she'll shut up. Haha serves her right. Where got like that force people to buy one lo.. And i think she's becoming reliant on me to buy food for her back after my breaks already. Everytime the first thing she sees me in the day, she'll ask for my break time. And if i say i'm not sure cos i'm not hungry yet, she'll come back later and ask me again. Damn i shouldn't have agreed to her the first time she asked me if i know this was going to happen. And i have to eat at the hawker centre everytime just because of this. The thing that made me most pissed was when she asked me to da bao back for her a packet of you mian and green bean soup. Walao ten minutes of my half an hour break was gone cos i had to queue up for her lo. And the walk from the supermarket to the hawker centre already took about 5 minutes. I had tried to sneak off quietly for my second break on saturday but i failed cos she caught me from the corner of her eye while she was still attending to a customer. Then she just shouted across..

"GIRL AH!! WAIT!!"

Then i was like SHIT.

"Help me buy two siew mais and a hei dou bao (why cant she just say dou sa bao. confuse me nia.)."

Omg i can't believe her man. She did this in front of the customer somemore. I think her skin layer is at least 10cm lo. Don't know why she still wants to put such thick makeup. Her eyeshadow is horrible. It seems like she just anyhow colour the whole patch above her eyes. That's not called eyeshadow anymore. And her cheeks are too red. Too much blush. My brother says she looks like a yao guai. HAHA. Poor xinru.. the yao guai touched your hair leh.. haha!! I can't stop laughing. And she still come tell me that she cannot stand going out if she doesn't put on makeup. Actually i think she'll look much better without makeup lo. Haha! Okay bad girl me.. Anyway, i still didn't manage to escape her 'claws' during my first break on sunday. But luckily for the second break, jo helped me think of a way to escape without her knowing. She said we three, plus the Kiwi auntie, should leave one by one and by different ways, and we'll meet at the escalator at 5. Haha and we succeeded. All of us can't stand that woman lah. The Kiwi auntie says her malay is so broken and she still dares to boast that her malay is very good. When we came back, the woman's face was so black. Haha but who cares. Sadly, i have to be with her again for two more days and there's no one there to accompany me anymore! Jo and the kiwi auntie are not working anymore and the two msian promoters are going back to msia. Before i left ytd, she said in mandarin "See you next week. Next week only got me and you leh." And she gave me that grin. SIGH poor me. How i wish my company will just tell me to stop working cos of my poor work performance. I know i've been too slack and i know i can just get sacked anytime if any of them saw what i have (mostly) been doing during work. Chatting and sometimes gossipping. If only i had read that contract carefully before i signed. Ah well, all's too late to regret anyway. It's just two more days and i'll be rid of this job forever. No more promoting jobs for me please. Lol. Anyway xinru, thanks for coming down on all the three days to visit me! I know you're too free to do it. Haha. At least you got me away from the horrible woman for a while. Lol.

Okay i'm gonna get striked by lightning. Choy ah. Lol don't mind me. I'm always like this after i've complained about someone. And this is the first time there's so much to complain about. Lol. But afterall she's working for a living too, just that she has gone overboard as a promoter sometimes. She should at least give the other products and the other promoters some 'face'.

great, my stupid phone died on me, like totally died. the whole screen went blank though it could still be lighted up. zzz and i cant transfer any of my SIM contacts to the nokia phone which im using now! so which means that i lost practically all of my contacts -____- luckily i could still remember ru's number and luckily mieo's number is still in the phone. if not i wont know what to do already. but the worst thing is i have all my appointments saved in that phone and now that it died, i have to try to remember every single one now! zzz damn sian. and somemore, my mum lost the charger for this nokia phone and the earpiece too OMG -___- thanks very much. stupid phone. i thought it could last until i can get a new one but it just spoilt suddenly. all my songs and pictures and messages are gone just like that!! hurrrr so dulan now. nvm hopefully the red cliff movie later will cheer me up. haha.

Well well well, i'm finally here to blog again. haha. y'know i screwed up my practical lesson yesterday. was rather disappointed with myself. the car engine stalled twice on the public road! then for both times i think i angered the driver behind who had to wait for me to restart the engine and move the car again. i remembered the first time it was a super impatient van driver who quickly overtook me after i turned and stared through the window at me. zzz. but on the other hand, it wasn't totally just my fault. the instructor, kept falling asleep beside me! zzz like wtf. that was the reason why he wore shades so that i wouldnt be able to tell if his eyes are closed anot. too bad i saw his head dropping slowly down so many times. i had to keep him awake by asking him irritating questions like turn left in front or go straight? and after that he'll fall asleep again, especially whenever we stopped at a traffic light. walao i felt damn dulan can, to an extent that i didnt even engage the first gear properly. thats why the engine stalled. and he still can say TSK to me. haiz. but luckily it got better when we went back to the driving school to practise some sharp turnings. that was when he started chatting with me, asking me about my current job and all. he's quite a funny guy actually. the only problem's the falling asleep part. lol zz. seriously i dont think i'll touch a manual car after i get the license. everytime the engine stalls, i'll almost get a heart attack. haha then i'll start panicking, especially when there's a car following so closely behind. super stressful one lo.

Okay enough about driving. shall talk about my work now. lol. speaking about work, AHHHH i dont want to go back and work anymore!! it sucks to stand for eight hours doing nothing most of the time. haha honestly, i know i'm not doing my job properly, but really there's nothing to tell me that i should do my best. our company is inefficient and disorganised in the first place. and the worst thing is they keep telling us the wrong stuff! what was supposed to be a half-day on the 24th now becomes a full day instead -_-and we were actually the ones who had to ask them about it and confirm. previously i was still gloating that we had already completed more than half of the work. now we still have another full half to go. and probably my worst mistake is to tell them that i can make it. urgh stupid. i should have just said that i cant make it, bye and i'm not working for you anymore. haha if my next boss hears of what poor attitude i have then perhaps i wont be hired anymore. oh well, my attitude varies, depending on the circumstances. LOL.

Fortunately, the silver lining about this job, for me, is that the workers there are quite friendly, except for a few. hah. there are quite alot of promoters stationed around me too. the first one that i talked to is the person selling Ginvera products (and Bio-Essence too), lets just call her the G woman. haha! she can be quite nice at times (the only problem is she'll occasionally spit saliva out when she's talking. and her voice is thunderous. LOL.). this G woman and two other promoters, the Eversoft woman and the Silkpro woman, are "enemies" with each other. its so funny. sometimes the G woman will come and talk bad stuff about the other two, then at other times the other two will come and talk bad stuff about the G woman. one says that they have no manners blah blah, while the other two say that she always 'cut' their sales, or kope their customers in simpler terms. haha. but seriously, the G woman is damn pro at pulling customers. once she sees someone looking at her products, or sometimes it might not even be hers, she'll walk over immediately and brainwash them, asking them to buy her products. she koped a few of my customers before too. haha. but i dont really care now. then the E and the S woman will start grumbling, saying that she always force people to buy. lol. actually all three of them are malaysians. but i dont understand why they dont talk to each other at all. the E and the S woman always stay together. they speak in canto so i dont understand what they're talking about. but i'm sure most of the time they are talking about the G woman. haha zz. i shall not be involved in all these office politics. everytime they come and complain to me, i'll just nod my head and agree with anything. sitting on the fence is always better. HAHA. then there's a woman selling pampers too. she's quite nice and occasionally she'll walk over and ask how are my sales. haha. and i must specially mention the final two promoters. they're the Lifebuoy auntie and the Kiwi auntie! both of them are super nice to me, especially the L auntie. she just stands one shelf away from the shelf opposite me and she'll keep coming over and chat with me. she'll tell me all about herself and her family. actually i admire her quite alot. she's like turning 67 and she still doesn't wanna retire! she lives alone and has a son and two grandsons. then she'll tell me about her past jobs and she likes to use the phrase HUO DAO LAO, XUE DAO LAO. haha. she's very bubbly and lively and all. it's really fun talking to her. this was the part i enjoyed most in my job. the K auntie i believe, is around the same age as the L auntie. haha. she doesn't wanna retire yet too. and she walks SUPER fast! when i say super means it's really super. she can even walk faster than me! everytime we go for our break or dinner together, the L auntie and me will always trail far behind her. then she always have to stop and wait for us. haha. she eats healthily too. she's a vegetarian actually. i wonder what will become of me when i'm her age. would i be eating this healthily or would i be lying on the sick bed waiting for death alr.. HAHA! but it feels rather weird to sit between them while eating. these two aunties are old enough to be my grandma. sometimes i could feel people staring at me. but i dunno if it's just me lah. haha. okay but whats wrong actually! they are nice people.. and i actually reluctantly accepted a treat from the L auntie. the whole process is quite dumb. i paid for the two bowls of wanton mee at first. then the L auntie gave me a $5 note in return. i didnt want to accept it at first cos i had actually wanted to treat her since it's her last day of work there. the K auntie then say i shouldnt be treating an elder since i'm still studying, so the L auntie pushed the note to me. when i wanted to give her the change, she shoved my hand away. so in the end it became her treat. lol zz. but anyway, thanks auntie! i wish you well and really hope to see you somewhere soon again :) i was abit sad when i bidded her goodbye on the train platform. then this week i wont have anyone to chat with me anymore. okay maybe with the G woman but her topics are so ... sometimes. haha oopsie. oh and some of the stocks people are quite nice to me too. they'll walk over and ask me how the game works and about my studies and all. there's this auntie who's particularly nice. really glad that at least there's someone who bothers to listen to me when i say that there aren't any more stocks left. the others would just ignore me and put me off by saying the stocks will come again next week. hurr right. when i returned the next week, the shelf was even emptier lor.

HMM okay FIVE more days of work as a promoter to go! cant wait for this to end. promoting is really not my type. i cant get people to buy my products as easily as the G woman. i cant talk on and on like her for goodness sake. i always go CI QIONG one. errs is that how you say it. haha! okay now imma bathe and gotta clean those windows! omg i better not drop down the building. HAHA.

first day of my driving lesson today! haha it was fun, especially the driving part. the instructor was quite funny, keep cracking silly jokes. lol. the first half of the lesson was spent telling me all the controls and engine parts. nothing really interesting here. the second half was, haha scary. he actually made me drive the car myself along the circuit! i was like HUH when he said that. then i keep making the same mistakes over and over again. i always release the clutch pedal too fast. then the engine will end up stalling and i have to restart it, blocking the rest of the cars behind. super stressful. lol. and i really cannot multi-task while driving. he was like trying to ask me some questions halfway, then when i answered, i looked at him and forgot all about the car. then it went out of the lane and he was like ehh watch the front! HAHA. i'm just lucky that i didnt crash into anyone or anything. lol. looking forward to the second lesson tomorrow! haha hopefully i wont make the same mistakes so many times again. manual is really so much harder than auto car. auto you just have to release the handbrake and go off. manual you have to worry about the clutch and the gear. lol but nvm i like the changing gear part. haha.

anyway, WORK SUCKS! omg i dont know how i managed to get past those three days. and it's starting soon again in two days' time! ahh yikes.

okay i've decided not to sleep despite the splitting headache. cos i predict that it'll worsen after i wake up. anyway, hmm many things have happened these few days. went for the 2 days training as a promoter at the SIRS. really didnt know such a company exists at all. LOL. anyway the first day was alright. i'm so glad that joanne's our teacher for the first day. and i really have to be grateful to her for closing her one eye for me. hehs. the second day was hell. stupid chiffon cake. bleagh. the assessment was.. haha. i got nervous while speaking halfway and it got rather obvious. lol. promoting is really not my type. haha and i have to actually promote for eleven days this month. and i was so unluckily allocated to a branch not anywhere near my house. bedok's actually not near to my place, considering the fact that i have to pay much more for transport starting from today. it actually feels weird when i tapped my ez link card on the reader just now. haha. different sound. different price. different feeling. lol. and of all outlets, i was so unluckily put into sheng siong. not that i dont like it. it's just... uhh a different feeling altogether. i would really greatly appreciate it if they put me back into ntuc. haha but thats clearly impossible now. oh well, i shall accept my fate and do my best for these eleven days. argh and the worse thing is i hate working alone! omg i cannot imagine how lonely and scared i will feel. courage, where is it?!?! LOL okay dumb..

anyway, went for the countdown party at vivo yesterday! okay it was plain silly of us to go down as early as 1pm in hope of chopping the best seats there but realised about two hours later that TICKETS ARE NEEDED -__- i seriously didnt know about this at all. and it was not mentioned anywhere previously. or did my cock eyes miss it somewhere. and we were actually the first few in the queue already. in front of us were ruien's fans i guess. we got stunned when we saw one of them holding the admission tickets. (anyway, F--K the cigarette smell from above. sorry but i really hate it whenever they smoke. it's damn suffocating :@ ) then we went to ask one of the organisers if there's any chance of us getting the tics. all he said was we can wait till the door opens and wait for the free tickets to be given out. so we left and went to shop instead. one of the soles of my PUMPS dropped off and i had to buy a new pair. this pair was really bought in haste. i walked around with it abit and started getting blisters all over already. so you can imagine me standing there at the countdown area for more than two hours with blisters all over. plus there are SOME people who kept stepping on my shoes. zzz ouch. we went to watch yesman first before heading over to the countdown area. the door was already opened by then. we were chased away by the fierce security guards and had to squeeze at another area which is far and at the back of the stage -_- heng we managed to get a better view when the guards started shouting that we can get free tickets and almost everyone pushed out to queue for the tics. we didnt though. haha. then we squeezed our way as front as possible. at first it was okay. then halfway through the show, some stupid aunties suddenly appeared behind us and started pushing us, trying to get to the front. me and liting were so pissed that we tried leaning on them and even blocked their view. haha serves them right for touching our backs and pushing -_- i almost fell can. then i grapped onto one of the guy's arm beside me and his girlfriend stared at me. zzz blame the aunties. and can you believe it, after awhile, the people in front of us left and the aunties just amazingly (or do you call it shockingly) appeared in front of us -___- i really wonder how they manage to squeeze from behind us to the front of us. i really just wanted to shove them away. really the ultimate auntie spirit man. tsk tsk. then it was their fault again when i failed to say hi to wanyin as i spotted her near me. they just pushed me away again. knn. nvm forget about them. at least i get to see alot of celebs! even though they looked very tiny from my side. haha but nvm at least i got to see all my favourites :D but too bad we didnt stay till the handshaking part. cos we had enough of getting pushed around already. lol. cabbed to liz's house and stayed over. slept for about five hours and went for breakfast at macs. haha. okay off to bathe and get ready for lunch cum dinner with the girls :)

anyway, HAPPY 2009 to all :D i really hope this year's a better year for me. i'd met with so many unfortunate events last year.

okay here's my new year wish: to be able to survive this month and especially this week. haha.
